Sense One, Rhode Island based emcee originally from Cranston currently residing in North Kingstown RI has just dropped his debut project entitled, "Lost On Tracks: The Mickstape". After over 6 years of endless recording session, 13 monthes in rehab, 2 felonies and the death of his mother, Sense drops his first project as a solo artist. His content ranges from back pack battle rap to conscious real life hip hop music. This CD consists of mostly original tracks but Sense has fun with jacking some classic boombap beats in the process. Another aspect of this project is the appearance of guitarist/singer/songwriter Dan Mills in a live performance with Sense at the Wheelhouse in Galilee RI. The performance is chopped up into 4 different tracks on the CD and gives you a break from the traditional hip hop regiment and gives you a different more organic feel to the project. This project features and array of producers, emcees and DJ's. Even going international working with producers Evade Beats from Japan and Eon Green from Belguim. Also from Belgium DJ Iron providing the cuts the song "Yes Yes Yall" featuring Troop Raw and Bes Kep. Other producers consist of Kid Carnage, 8th Wundah, Vertygo, Konsickwence and more. Featured emcees consist of Crisis, Boombox Saintz, MC Raise and Milez Grymez. Sense One's Vocals are accompanied by and array of banging beats that will keep ya head nodding from the intro to the last track. As the host of Underground Sound with DJ Primitive mondays on 90.3 WRIU, Sense is finally starting to make a name for himself in the Rhode Island hip hop scene.
